Candidates
Listed alphabetically by surname. Each summary is written only from the official record and the candidate's own campaign material — never from what anyone else says about them. Other coverage is listed under each candidate and labelled by what kind of source it is.
Lou H. Taylor
Republican
Taylor won the Republican primary with 723 votes (69.45%) to Sherrie Clifford's 318.
He is the former superintendent of Worcester County Public Schools. WCPS reported that Taylor retired effective June 30, 2025 after 41 years of service to the school system.
This initial draft uses that official school-system record for his background. A commissioner campaign platform in his own words was not located in the quick-source pass.
