A county record says she earned a criminology and criminal justice degree from the University of Maryland, College Park and a law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law. She became an Assistant State's Attorney in Worcester County after admission to the bar, later worked in Wicomico County, and was sworn in as Worcester County State's Attorney on January 7, 2019.
